2024

Professor for undergraduate classes "Art Fundamentals and Art Appreciation".  Half of my students are undergraduate college students, and the other half are high school dual enrolled students receiving college credits. “Art Fundamentals” is a studio class where I teach students comprehensive foundations in art making. “Art Appreciation” is an entry level lecture class where I expose students to the multi-dimensional world of art and help them gain a greater

understanding of arts cultural.

Co-Professor for undergraduate class "WARP" (Workshop for Art Research and Practice).  This interdisciplinary studio course teaches students to research and think conceptually while working with multimedia. It is the right of passage for all art majors.

Instructor for an undergraduate class, “Digital Fabrication”.   A course for students to learn to translate digital objects, images, and concepts into tangible forms through digital fabrication.  Students learned to work in Rhino, Photoshop, and Illustrator.  Class sometimes meet in the fabrication laboratory to get acquainted with the operation and maintaining of machines that will be used throughout the course including laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC mill, and waterjet cutting.

Instructor for an undergraduate Sculpture classes, “Space”.  A project-based studio foundation course for spatial investigations where students will explore methods for defining space, conceptualizing space, three-dimensional design strategies, form development, and an overview of concepts that shape the contemporary artists’ understanding of form and space.

2021

Instructor for an undergraduate Sculpture classes, “Shaping Form and Space”. This course was an in-depth investigation into the fundamental sculptural elements of shape, form and space. Students built a solid understanding of three-dimensional concepts by learning basic sculptural skills and techniques, applying these skills within a traditional sculptural context while relating them to contemporary sculptural issues.

Internship in DCP Fabrication Laboratory, University of Florida, Gainesvill

2021

During two semesters I learned how to prepare digital files for laser cutting, 3D printing, CNC milling, and waterjet cutting.  I gained a greater understanding of these machines and their limitations.  I learned how to advise students on which materials were best suited for each machine.  I also gave laser cutting orientations, teaching students how to use the laser cutters safely and efficiently.

TA for a large entry-level studio class, and an ecological sculpture class.  Leading demos for a variety of sculptural mediums.  Responsible for helping students problem solve within their own work.  Helping students implement critical thinking into the concepts of their work.  Assessing, and grading work.
